Glen and Kevan: why don't you ever stop this foolish dicussion?? It'll never end and these long discussion posts only make these pages slower (little kidding here... )
LOL. When kev opens up his mouth and inserts foot it is tough to hold back. :rotf: ...glen

PS - please start another thread to discuss the TRS/OFR. This one is not about that

I've eaten a little shoe leather lately too, but the bantering is still fun. I got a note tonight about me a Glen 'fighting' today. LOL Fighting? We were just having one of our 'normal' discussions!

(I will be switching back to Reebok soon, these Converse are leaving a bad taste in my mouth!)

Can anybody tell me what the real differences are between a TRS and my original Floyd above?
From what I remember about the genuine Floyds that I've used, they're missing one element that the TRS will accomplish:

The upward wang.
My old Floyd-equipped guitars couldn't do it.
I even have an old pic of EVH and one of his early striped axes.... he had a quarter nailed to the guitar just underneath one corner of the Floyd. He could then pull back about 1/16" and get a sharp vibrato.
