Jem 7BSB outside of the US

Just wondering if anyone knows any reputable retailers outside the US for a BSB model. Ibanez currently markets them to the rest of the world, but finding one used is hit and miss.
Any info will be appreciated.

I guess Ishibashi is a good bet. They got a web shop, ship to the whole world and have a good reputation.
Their URL is http://www.ishibashi.co.jp/

You know Ibanez still advertises them here in Japan, but I've never actually seen one in stock. Let me know how much they charge you for shipping if you buy one from Ishibashi? Thx and good luck.

hey, thanks for the info; I'll definitely check ishibashi out. I don't think that the BSB is a leftover though...If you go to Ibanez Japan, or some of the Euro versions of the site, it's portrayed like a model in production.

Anyway, I'll let you know how it goes

It is in the 2002 Japanese catalogue so it is still in production here. I believe the local shops just don't stock them. Most shops I've been to will usually have only a Universe(current model), and a 7VWH in stock, but it's possible one of the larger stores closer to Tokyo will have one in stock. Ask Raijin he might know where one is

I can't understand why one of the most popular Jem models is so scarce, even when in production. I checked Ishibashi, and didn't see it on the site, but I might send an email to see if they can get ahold of it.

I wish that Ibanez would inject more of the Japanese models into the US...the line for here is so conservative and boring.
Who was it that you wanted me to ask?

You're right, it's gone. That surpised me.
You might also want to check out http://www.thomann.de in Germany.
I don't know much about the shop but at least they still list the BSB in their inventory.
Direct URL to 7BSB: http://www.netzmarkt.de/thomann/iban..._prodinfo.html (They didn't manage to get the picture right though).

Yeah, strange isn't it? Thanks for the German link...not bad, but they are kind of steep. I think $2000 is a little too high for this model. I know that Ed Roman is selling them for the same new in the box, and he's usually my litmus for asinine pricing.

I ran across one in Italy, although I don't have the link at hand, and they were somewhere around $1500 I think, or maybe a bit less. It was awhile back though.

They didn't manage to get the electronics right either. Don't BSBs come with Evos as standard
