JEM 7DBK with an EVO in the bridge - how d'ya think that'll

just when I thought I'd buy a 7VWH, I'm starting to lean towards a 7DBK and then would put a EVO humbucker in the bridge

my thoughts are that i like the 7DBK neck quite a bit and like the Breed neck pickup for rhythm parts and mellower jazzy sounding melodies but then want the EVO bridge pickup for when it's time to scream

and yes I'm planning on buying from Rich

I could use some feedback on this...would there be any problems with a Breed in the neck and an EVO in the bridge? how's the EVO gonna sound in the Basswood body?

thanks in advance

JEM 7DBK with an EVO in the bridge

Well I reckon that the Evo in the bridge will make the guitar sound pretty much like a BSB. If I remember correctly then the DBK's finish leaves big breathing gaps for the wood so it'll sound kinda natural/unfinished sounding.

The BSB has a gorgeous crisp, present sound with the Evo's in it, so I reckon this'll be pretty much what the DBK would sound like.

I can't foresee any compatability problems from mixing Evos and breeds
