Jem 90th metal replacement pickguard

I have my Jem 90th with far too many surface scratches on pickguard. I had it removed and applied several brands of chemical compounds. you know those metal polishers. They further damaged my pickguard and now I need a new one. Does any of you know if the pickguard is available to order from Hoshino/USA or if it can be restored by the hands of professional metal polishers? What about custom pickguard shops? Do they ever make metal pickguard?

No idea if Hosh still has any, but I can tell you list price is $180, so even a best deal scenario would run you $110 minimum.

We have a fantstic metal worker just down the road,i'll talk to him tomorrow and find out if anything can be done ( as much as is possible by explaining ) Other than that i am stuck dude.

I dont doubt Hoshino will also want the old one back,Isn't that how it works with ibanez ? Rich ?

The 90th guard is polished, I doubt you'd ever find one to buy, even HoshUSA doesn't have any [that they can find anyway]

Sorry if I offend anyone but......you want to change a pickguard because it's scratched up? That's what it's there for! God the vanity!

I don't if this applies to Jems, but a good vintage guitar 100% original with scratched up pickguard is worth more than the same guitar with a new minty pickguard. Just my 2cents
