Jem bass volume

Today, I have been doing some work on my classical guitar so I took a break and decided to play some classical on my jem... so I plugged in an I noticed that the higher strings are wayyyy louder than the bass strings... but its not noticeable with a pick and distortion. I am wondering why and how I can fix it because I would like to finger pick on my Jem more often. thanks

Try lowering the pickup on the treble side a little bit and turn your treble control to zero? MAyhbe use the neck pickup of you want to fingerpick, as it will have a more muffled sound than the evo on the bridge side.

i use top neck position for a couple of beethoven pieces on my jem and i love the sound it makes. try adjusting the treble on your amp down a bit perhaps? or bass up? And also use chorus if you have it.
