Jem neck...uk

bonjour every body, starting a project with my mate and we have everything sourced apart from a jem neck,...not wanting to use the bay of e, and not wanting to goto emerica for it, cause of possible shipping problems etc........any one know of any uk merchants who could fabricate me a few necks

if i am correct richard fay only refits neck he does not make em, neither does max cottam..

Oh? I thought Richard built them? If not, I'm not sure where you can get one. Maybe Blackmachine can do it?

I am pretty sure he only refits them, but i jus emailed blackmachine and hopefully they can do it for me, only an hour train ride away as well :-)

Rich doesn't make necks but will customise any neck you manage to get.

Cool. Good luck with that one. Blackmachine are pretty damn nice guitars, I'm sure they'll build a great neck for you.

Blackmachine guitars are amazing but they're very different to a Jem in appearance,materials,everything really.
Doug is really not the sort of guy that will make you replica necks.
They build full custom (expensive)guitars only.

Rich Fay can make necks but they would be very pricey as the few he's done have been totally hand-built as he doesn't have CNC equipment or anything like that.
Any UK luthier is going to be expensive really.
Sims make very nice bodies but i'm not sure if they will make necks.

Yup, you were right blackmachine wont make me a neck at all, doesnt matter if its a replica or a one off or one of their own, ..and i am having trouble finding any companies to make me a neck in the uk

Really didnt want to use **** as i dont trust em, and really dont want to get anything from the states as i am afraid if its not right i am gonna have a hard time with shipping etc..., cant go round and shout out em if they are inh the wrong countrie ;-)
