JEM prices?

hey I'm going to purchase a JEM soon, since I am on a relatively low budget, could a JEM(not JEM 555) be purchased at or below $600. the year, color(unless I just can't stand it) won't matter. just as long as it is working and not much is wrong with it(such as cracks in the guitar wood, parts need replacing, etc.) paint chips and stuff don't matter. any hep would be great.

Well, I doubt $ 600 would get you too far.....but I have seen old FP's and other types of Jems as low as $ 700 on ****, but they are all in pretty bad condition. You arent going to get a Jem for $ 600 without scratchs and dings (or worse) Just FYI!

you might be lucky enoght to fined one somwhere. better off getting a 555 or a good rg and modd it to your requements. or you could just save up more $ .......

you could get lucky, I bought a mint JEM777SK a few years ago for $500.

I said dings and scratches don't matter, as long as the scratches/cracks aren't deep in the wood. and it being able to play(aside from some personal setup). would $700-$800 be more likely? that's my guess.

Yeah, personally I think you're better off just getting an RG for that price range. But if you're just set on having a JEM, then you should definitely just save up more $$$ because buying a JEM that's had the crap beat out of it may not really be worth the money.

If you want a Jem do not buy something "similar" or do not try to convince yourslef that this guitar is the same but cheaper blah blah blah. You'll buy a Jem soon or late because it is what you really want.

Therefore save money until you can buy a real Jem. The one you want.

On the other hand I do not think you can buy a decent instrument for $600 unless you're very lucky.

lol unless you get hella lucky $600 will not get a JEM. $700~800 is a maybe. FPs should go for around $850 but lately e*bay prices have been going up as high as over $1000 :\
