Congrats m8

I picked a DBK up recently and I can tell you you won't be dissapointed.
She plays beautifully and the breeds are spot on.

Now if I could only find a way to keep that mirror pickguard dust and smudge free

Cheers

Thanks guys. *I really don't know how long it will take to get it ,but *I hope it's not too long. *Yep, I have had quite a few RG's, including a 770, but when I played my ex-guitar teachers Jem7vwh, I decided I had to have a Jem. *I would have bought a 7vwh, but it was just a bit too much $$$$ for me at the moment. *Besides I got the DBK for $899, so I couldn't pass that up.

Being as how I was used to the Wizard neck of my Saber for so many years I kinda didn't like the JEM necks. Now don't get me wrong. I had been dying for a JEM for years and was willing to make the change. Then I picked up the DBK and fell head over heels in passionate, raging, "I gotta have it or I'll just DIE" love. This thing is so sweet to play. Smooth and tight. It's DEFINATELY black and the chrome just really does it for me. The screw heads are not really what I was looking for nor were the breeds. But over all this is by far the best guitar I have ever owned bar none. If you're in the market for a JEM but don't have the scratch for it then buy this one NOW! For the playability alone you will be robbing them blind at this price!! You won't be sorry I assure you.

Ibanez, you guys really topped yourself on this one! THANK YOU from the bottom of my black and chrome heart!!!

As a fellow DBK owner I wish you all the happiness with your purchase. I love my DBK to death and it has the meanest look. Yeah take note on that mirror pickgaurd though, its nice but it loves the fingerprints.

Bob--

Congrats on the new guitar! The DBK is quite a nice axe--the Breed pickups have their own thing going on, and I find myself playing the DBK much more than I ever thought I would. That, and wierd as it is, people totally dig the "midnight tapioca" finish.

Let us know when it comes in!

The first thing I did when my DBK arrived was call Jeannie pickguards. I had a brushed aluminum guard cut and replaced the mirrored one. It now sits in a protective case for resale purposes. The brushed aluminum guard looks great.

Hi guys, I got the call on the 26th that my DBK was in. *My god, that was fast! *I stopped in to the shop briefly yesterday to check it out, and will be picking it up tomorrow after the tech there finishes setting it up for me. *From what I saw of it, I did not waste my cash. *I was even impressed with the finish. * So exactly what do you guys use to clean the little fingerprints off the pickguard?? *
