This "dead mint" one up on **** looks real to me :

However, #366 was mentioned in a previous Jemsite thread back in 2001 as having an "almost fading" sig :

I asked the seller about the the history of this guitar, and he/she said "that person has his numbers confused, as this guitar NEVER hung in any Guitar Center, let alone in CA, or any guitar store for that matter"

I don't know what it is but something doesn't seem right. The colours... hmmmm... maybe it's just me? And where is the original case? Surely a completely mint JEM would have stayed in the pink lined case?

EDIT: OK, I should have read first. " Guitar ships in original Chesbro Ibanez hardshell case". I thought all of these came in the pink lined one?

The old position volume knob tells me it is legit, and the color looks fine to me. Handrest is proper, sig looks legit. I say it's good to go.

I'll let someone else comment on that particular auction, but i think its quite possible that someone seeing a guitar in a store would forget or mix up the no. when describing it in a thread later. Especially a number not particularly memorable - could have just as likely been 336 or 363.

Agreed, and a lot of these didn't come with a numbered pyramid case also.

OK. After looking at those pics in his album, they all look washed out. I guess it's just the camera / lighting. Man if I had the cash I'd snap that one up right away.

could be , i couldnt help myself. my wife is going to kill me dead, but man, what a dream machine!! looks like the custom shop strat will be going up on the bay to help fund my jem addiction. when my 20th arrives ill post some pictures of the ladies.

yea i saw that hds, its sweet.

i am very excited, as is my credit card company , to be receiving two lovely new jems very soon. i just got a new, bigger office at work and plan to line the walls with my entire collection of jems (office has real nice alarm system, too, so they should be safe).

Congrats jem20th...I don't think I could have drag raced with you at that price point for very long. I do believe I get credit for discovering that one tho (for what that's worth)....
