from the spec page:

"JEM777VSK Note - Never intended for release in the US because the pink "changed colors". AMS (a large mail order shop) bought the leftover run of these from Hoshino and sold some highly discounted in the early 90s. It's neck has the dimensions of the Wizard neck."

Thanks Snake! Kinda depressing, but appreciate it! Now I wonder if Glen and Rich know if this one was released and sold in Japan?

I don't know, but if anybody here lives in Japan you should get them to find out.

Never seen one in these neck of the woods. Of course, guitars of domestic brands never been that popular here either... (Most guitar shops here have Fenders and Gibsons on display instead.)

Oh man. We don't really want to head down this road again do we?

Oh well, I can't resist:

Rich/Glen can we start a 777VSK Registry to get an accurate count? (sorry) *

raijin where are you in Japan if you don't mind me asking? I thought I was the only one living in Japan at the moment

Thx everyone who knows maybe I'll be able to track one down here, but Raijin is right. Gibson and Fender are mostly the guitars of choice here. I love going to blues night and bringing my Ibanez just so I can get a reaction out of all the Strat players(can't wait to take my VBK) *

Sorry, didn't notice that you were located in Japan too! I currently live in Mito, Ibaraki, because this is my wife's home town. But I spent most of my years in Tokyo and Yokohama. So, where you at?

I think it's like a 3 ~ 4 hour drive from here. Pretty far...

But it sure is nice knowing there's another jemsiter here in Japan. Was feelin' kinda lonely out here!
