Jem777YP and UV7BK Prices

Hi guys,

While looking around I found a shop that sports the Jem777YP (the yellow one) and the UV7BK (black with green pickups) both supposedly new (!)

They sell them for $1180 (Jem777YP) and $1700 (UV7BK).
Are those fair prices??

I could also buy a Jem90 Anniversary for about $1500...

I like all of them Which one would you suggest considering the prices??

Thanks,

-- Giuseppe

If you really want a UV7BK get one second hand that's in good condition, 1700$ is far too much! I got mine for slightly over half that of ebay, and that was including getting it shipped to england! SO you are probably looking at about 800 - 1100$ to get one I reckon (that includes shipping). All you really have to do is convince the people selling them to ship em outside the US...

Like he said thats way too much for a uv7bk, out of the three with those prices I say go for the jem90. Good luck.

If you have a look at the price guide (http://www.jemsite.com/ads/price.htm) you will find that the prices are a bit high.

If the guitars really are unused and they are in Mint++ condition the prices might not be too bad, though.

Did you check out the serial numbers? Both the UV7BK and the 777DY was last produced '96 so it surprises me if they've been in the store all this time.

Doesn't surprise me one bit at those prices! *I think ER actually still has an original new LNG. *Price way too high to comment. *They obviously want to keep these guitars.

You're probably right Gabe, but considering that the European price for a brand new 555 is around $1200, I'd still buy a 6 year old "new" 777DY for the same price.

European prices suck big time....
You have to look real hard, to find one with a reasonable price.
