jem7v springs
hi
I wonder if that aluminiumthing sitting under the tremolo to prevent the tremolosprings from falling out is absolutely necessary, bacause i've installed 5 springs so i cant put it on anymore.

5 springs? Isn't that a (helluva) lot?
The only thing I can say is keep the cover and do a full pull-up. If any of them fall out, then you have your answer.
