JEM7VWH (Just a "feeler" Thread)
ok so im considering trading my jem for something else, now I know I said I'd never trade it but the band im in does alot of different tuning and I need something hardtail and I would perfer mohagany (
les paul
) I'm not exactly saying I would like a les paul and nothing else
so if you got offer's let me know and if I see theres enough stuff, i'll consider trading and post a serious ad

Re: JEM7VWH (Just a "feeler" Thread)
For this I have "Banned" Eddie from Jemsite and therefore in doing so, I have destined him to spend all eternity entrapped in the depths of Gibson hell
Much deserved I must say!
Ed - why not keep the Vwh and get a hardtail on the side?? Surely you play songs that require a trem as well and you could have the hardtail for the drop-tunes, etc???

Re: JEM7VWH (Just a "feeler" Thread)
I'll kill you eddie!!! What the hell is wrong with you, sometimes you want this and then now you want that
Like Jim said keep the vwh and save up some money to get a cheap hardtail something like the rg321, if you trade it I'll come over to robstown TX wherever there is and chop you to pieces

Re: JEM7VWH (Just a "feeler" Thread)
Pick up a cheapish hardtail for altered tunings. Good ones can be had for 1/3 of what a VWH goes for on the used market. Although I love
Les Pauls
, they arent the only
fixed bridge
or even TOM out there.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Just engage the tremol-no and loosen your
locking nuts
and you can do whatever tuning you like. Then re-tune and lock em back down. It won't take very long at all.

Eddie you fool ! Keep the Jem and get a SZ520QM or any SZ. They're hard tail and awesome too. A lot less expensive than a Les paul and they look and play better to. Keep the Jem , you'll kick yourself later if you do !

Re: JEM7VWH (Just a "feeler" Thread)
Get an RGA121, maple top, mahog body,
hardtail bridge
.
I have one and a Jem7v and they're a good combination, only I don't play the Jem anymore as the RGA kicks it's butt
So beware.

Re: JEM7VWH (Just a "feeler" Thread)
Why bother? You might trade it anyway for a tele. I say save up some cash and get an RGA, or an SZ.

Re: JEM7VWH (Just a "feeler" Thread)
a good option is the line 6 variax. yea, i konow, digital guitars, yuck, but for
alternate tunings
its killer. you can brogram it to have 10 different alternate tunings with Variax workbench and even create your own chords with the virtual capo they have on there. prety cool and you can use any guitar sound you want with those chords. no more tuning for hours. great for a quick drpo D too.

Get an SZ model ibanez. They're very affordable and versatile. You can play anything on those things!

Re: JEM7VWH (Just a "feeler" Thread)
the RGA121 is on clearance in black on one of the online stores site. bang for the buck it just can't be beat. i think it is like $599 or something w/ case.
or just order up a trem blocker from Rich and viola! you have a hardtail.
