jem7vwh vs jem555 neck

i currently have a jem555bk and i was considering purchasing a jem7vwh despite the fact i'm not very good at guitar (but ... i really like guitars you know, plus i make the money so why not eh)

anyway i thought the jem7vwh neck was a bit thick and i did not like it nearly as much as the neck on my jem555... thats the only thing about it i wasnt happy with...

whys the jem 7vwh neck thicker? i dont like it perhaps ill put the 555 neck on the vwh when/if i get it (despite the ugly inlay, but oh well)

whats the deal? are the necks on the 7vwh thicker now or something?

the 555 is a wisard which is the thinnest neck that ibanez make...FLo ( one of steve's main guitar's) has a 555 neck on it..yeah.it's more a taste thing with necks..

i never noticed that, it seems to have the full vine inlay though??

if the 7vwh is not a wizard than what is it? the one im looking at is undoubtedly a newer model, this years probably

what is the neck and did the 7vwh's ever have different necks? (wizards perhaps)

because i think the thin necks are great, feels good on my wrist

I personally prefere thicker necks. It's better for bendings and all that stuff and my hand feels more confortable with them.

The time I have spent with the Les Paul is certainly a factor

I think that the VWH neck is just a Jem neck. The ones I have tried are thinner than my 77fp. I am really starting to like ibanez thicker necks.

Thick necks are the best. I sure love the neck on my EB/MM replica .

Flo hasnt had a 555 neck on her for years now...

The 555 does NOT have a wizard neck ,its alot thicker than that. Flo hasnt had a 555 neck on her in ages

I noticed the difference in necks... but doesn't really bother me either way.

seems odd that the 555 neck would be thinner than the 7vwh but whatever, there's an auction thats about to end on **** and i think im going to bid on it in hopes of getting my first jem !
