JEM90 HAM

I took a leave today to receive the JEM90 HAM.

After long waiting, the door ring and JEM90 has landed. Quickly open the box and inspect everything, all looks good except infamous pickguard fog and corrosion. A bit disappointed as I paid high tax to import to UK. I don’t know how custom use for Exchange rate, apparently they are charging me approximately 25 percent if I use current market rate. Look at the first picture that was before I cleanup.

Strings were out of tune and bridge is not in right level etc. Previous owner didn’t care about her. Thanks god he didn’t abuse the body. After playing for awhile, I went out and find Aluminium cleaning agent and cleanup the guard, as it is horrible to see such a beauty in this shape.

Here are the results and its so clean now that I can see myself on the guard and only paid 5₤ for cleaning agent. Now I am having threesome.

Well done on the After photos. May I ask what you used as a cleaning solvent? I must say that is the best 90th pickguard cleanup I have seen so far.

here is the cover, it is cheap and used in cars and motocycles.
So JEM90 ower, get one and time to polish and no more problem in pickguard corrossion.
One of the member here send his 90 to a metal shop and it was actually better than mine.

Jem90HAM has a wizard neck profile. 7vwh has the jem profile. They are different.
