JemVWH Neck

Can anyone tell me the dementions of the 2004 VWH neck including radius? I played a DBK Jem and it seemed thinner?

DBK is more of a wizard II profile.

the DBK is thinner, i would say it is much more a orginal wizard style then wizard II. It is very much like the super wizards with the bubinga strip, almost exact same neck. I have a DBK and the super wizard neck sitting around as well.

In short:

JEM necks have been said to change a bit over the years

- original profile: Fullest. Wide. Thinner than a strat, but much thicker than a Wizard.

- 7VWH profile: Wider feeling than a Wizard, like a flatted D shape

- 7DBK profile: basically a Wizard neck.

Ibanez says this change is due to Vai's increasing preference for thinner necks.

Some of us who watched him play EVO for years upon years say it's to save a few bucks by sharing necks between RGs and JEMs.
