Question

Just bought a 777sk! What do you think?

I just bought this 777sk on the bay. I know it needs some help...just like the DY I bought back in March. Just wondering from the pics if I could have done better?? I needed a project while I'm off work with my recent back surgery.

What do ya think??

I'm suprised someone in the military would attempt to bid on that with the "Don't ask, don't tell policy".



Sorry man, just giving you the business. Nice guitar.I'm suprised there were so few bids and it went so cheap.

Thanks! That’s reassuring. I plan to refinish the neck & neck plate, replace the pick guard with a NOS one, polish the body, and replace the trem. I’ll know more once it’s actually here. I love restoring guitars, especially the older Jems

Nice Score...My first Jem was an SK, always have a soft spot in my heart for them(maybe someday I'll get another)

Nice, btw how much do the sk and dy guitars usually go for on the bay. I saw that yours was around $1000 is what they usually go for? That guitar looks amazing. Post pics when you get her!!!!

The 91'DY I bought back in March was in similar condition and I paid $1050.00 This SK was $1075.00 I hear of people finding them from 700 to 1000 and up. It depends on the condition, how bad you want it, and being in the right place at the right time. The other SK that was on the bay today 320013721145 went for $2495.00 It's claimed to be as close to mint as you can get. That’s too much for me, but I wouldn’t mind getting that for one of mine
