Large Frets - Large Frets

*On the Ibanez website, it says the Jems and UVs have large frets. *How do these compare to the jumbo frets? *I am considering one of those models, but only if the difference isn't to drastic. *Thanks.

Large Frets

Jems and Universes don't have the same frets. *But, the newer Jem frets are Dunlop 6105's, RG's use 6100's, and the old Jems use 6100's. *The difference is not much, but basically the 6105's are a little narrower than the 6100's, but pretty close to the same height. *
The UV's use the 6140, which is closer to a medium. * But I believe in 2000, the UV777BK got the 6105 as well, or something very similar. *I think the VSK, and VDY also used the 6140, which is a little smaller, (same as the UV) *

The RG 7 strings also use the larger fretwire but I don't think it's called 6105, it is very very close to the 6105 though. *
