Left handed Universes/RG7's - Did Ibanez ever make any?

I am just wondering because I'd like a UV777/ RG7 left handed neck for a reverse headstock right handed custom RG7/UV.

I know they never made a lefty universe, but I think there is a lefty RG7420 or something like that out there somewhere (I swear I've seen one)... So you may be out of luck...

Exactly correct PekkaM, I am right handed, and play right handed. I want a reverse headstock on a custom RG7 and what better way to do it, than by using a lefty neck. but since there doesnt seem to be any... my dreams are crushed.

Yes, there was a lefty RG-7420 in Japan, I'm not sure if they still make it. *I'm sure you could get a custom neck made by one of the numerous shops out there that do Ibanez copies.

a neck conversion is going to be a pain in your ass, what with the whole non symetry of the aanj. its doable, but sure not fun!
but im thinking about doing it too to a prestige lefty. id have done it already but im waiting to get my hands on a prestige, not just a lefty. i have my superwizard mij, i dont want to go korean on a nice custom guitar

Id recommend talking to a custom builder, such as Christopher Woods, Richard Fay, etc. They do in fact make lefty RG7's, Ive seen plenty of em on e-bay (was that a bad word to say here?) but like xeroparadox mentioned, the neck joint is gonna be an issue.

Isn't Legacy One making 7-string necks now? Last I checked, it's not on his page (see the banners on top), but I could have sworn I saw him say that he can make them now.

Tell you what, you find a good lefty 7 string, sell it to me and use the money to buy a custom neck?

Far better use of an actual lefty neck.

I have saw a 7 string with reversed headstock swirled by Rich.
It's awesome!
Did search on his site and didn't found it.
I'll search thru my files and will post it.

Yeah,Rich sold that on E bay a while back.
Lovely guitar!
He made the neck from scratch himself using a Jem fretboard widened with binding.
Nice job.
