LoPro vs. Edge

What is the difference between th LoPro and the orginal Edge? What do most people prefer? Thanks.

Ibanez Edge? Well, the lo-pro has a lower profile (surprised?). I kinda like 'em both. Lo-pro looks better, though!

Hmm well on my DBK I had a Lo Pro, which I thought was great.

But then I got a FP...

and the Edge "has the edge"

Better flutter on my Edge than my Lo Pro, also feels a little more stable/ sturdy (probably only dude to size/ weight distribution or something like that)

I have two Ibanez guitars with floating trems, one of each.
I really don't think that one is better than the other, in terms of feel and response they are both very similar and to be honest how well they work varies a lot due to things like set-up of the guitar, how new your strings/springs are etc.

If i really had to pick a favourite, then maybe (just) Lo-pro and that would only be because my lo-pro is in better condition then my Edge. Hardly an objective decision then!

Both my Ibby floaters have Lo Pros.

1) ZR/Edge Zero
2) LoPro Edge
3) Edge
4) Schaller/real Floyd Rose
5) All other junk

What do you guys think of the comparison to a Floyd Rose with the Edge trem?

I think the Edge looks better than a Floyd Rose, and it's more comfortable to play (tuners are further back, and the saddles have a rounder, less blocky shape).
But in terms of quality, reliability or usability I think they're pretty close.
