Marc has Graduated to a JEM 7DBK

My future "Rockstar" guitarist Marc, has finally become the owner of a Jem guitar. Specifically a new JEM 7DBK. Soon to be 17 y.o. he has had 18 guitars of which 12 have been Ibanezs'. He currently has 10 of the Ibanezs and a BC Rich Beast and I suspect the DBK is the crowning jewel. For some strange reason he really likes it and has indicated that he still has room for a 77FP. He (we) have come a long way from an RG270 back in the days when he was taking lessons. On more than one occasion I have been accused of overdoing it, but I enjoy learning about them and buying them almost as much as he enjoys playing them. Thanks to all of you at Jemsite I feel like I have earned a Masters Degree in Ibanez.

Marc is your son? Would you feel like adopting another, by any chance? I don't eat much.

Where do you live in DC?

I'm in Pasadena, less than an hour away. Maybe we can hook up and jam or just chat.

I'm soon to be 17 and I have had a grand total of 3 guitars, still own 2 of em.

squier strat (mid 80s)(sold)
Ibanez s370, blocked trem, now used for de-tunings and taking to school/friends houses
Ibanez JEM7VSBL, yeah quite a big jump from the other guitars :P But I saved and worked for ages while I pondered as what to get, not wanting some medicre guitar that I would have to mod up, and not be satisfied with after a few years. after trying out a JEM (among a million other guitars) I settled on it. Thanks rob

18 guitars, wish I was your kid :P

Hope your enjoying that VSBL art!

I used to have about 22 pretty decent guitars, and ive been cutting down on quantity, and going for quality, now im down to 11, and they are all really serious machines... ESP customshops, Jem10, Jackson customs, fender customshops, some nice gibsons... im spoilt for choice!

still...theres always rooms for more, and i need to replace my JS10!

*churchill dog* oooh no no no no no

When i say replace i meant that i used to own a JS10th, i sold it a while back, and i wish to replace it with another JS10! thus adding another guitar to my sonic arsenal. The JS2k is also a great guitar, once i have the JEM10, JS10 and PGM10, i shall work on getting a VAI2K and a JS2K, those five, plus a 77GMC, should satisfy my ibanez desires!

damn man, thats gonna be big bux :P

I know there's a shop on denmark street with a chromeboy for sale (well at least it's in the window) in good conidition. Maybe you should check it out. I think it was in rhodes music, or maybe world of music. But I really can't be sure.

it was £2500. It had a lot of body wear on it, too. The pick wear had worn right through the chrome.

Really? I didn't give it much of a look as I know its out of my league :P But in my quick glance I didn't notice any damage to the chrome. oh well.
