Re: My 2nd Herc SWIRL PICS are in.

Hey Thank you all very much I appreciate it alot. I'm leaning on the 3rd option.

Which will look great with a pyramid inlays which is my first choice. Dark Blue, light blue and white on a rosewood fretboard. =)

I'm thinking Black or Cosmo Black hardware.

Thank You everyone.

TT

hahahaha I was a moron too LOL!

I'd love to do a maple but I have the rosewood neck already. Its got a nice bubinga stripe, gps system and it uses solar energy.

I think I would go with option 2. It seems to complements and connects the swirl very nicely. It draws your eye into the finer aspects of the swirl (i.e. the white in the upper and lower horns). I might consider using black volume and tone knobs with it.

LEDS? If I had the extra cash. Pyramid LEDS? I'd love to see that. Where the pyramid lights up and you can't see the the LED bulb that would amazing.

I have to say its tough cause I go back and forth with 2 and 3.
Option would cost more since I would have to go to DiMarzio directly for white and blue pickups. The white and blacks I can order from a musician's friend.

Which brings me to my next crossroads. Breeds or Evo II in the brigde. I have an Evo II in my first herc swirl sooo should I stick what I like or be a little experimental and make them different.

I would experiment. If you dont like the sound you can always resell them.

Relax Man, I like Option 1 and 3.

Option 1 - all the white brings out the small amounts of white that is burried between so much blue.

Option 3 - Brings out white, but to so much of an extent where it looks like your trying to hard.

So your left with 2 more options

Bring out to much white, or to much blue..

I say go with Option 3 because it brings out enough white to where you can be happy with it, but hope to god DiMarzio's baby blue Pickups match your paint!

I leaning on option 3 the most cause I love how the blue and white pickups work with the swirl. Plus the pyramid inlays are going to have white in them so the whites in the pickup and the white knobs will compliment the inlay.

Or I could go blue knobs.
