My 7VSBL came today!

Ok, its my new #1, beats my 7DBK. I like the neck better, the pickups, and the scalloped last 4 are pleasantly useful.

They are beautiful in person, play like a dream.

If I ever manage to get one, I'll pop on blue strat-like knobs like the prototype

Sounds great. Really punchy and clear, not as warm and bassy as my 7D.

Congrats dude, I have really been wondering about that axe and ended up buying the DBK because I was being cheap. I love my DBK but like the basic blue and white with vines..........plus like an idiot I thought the DBK came with real screw heads for the inlays. Oh well!

Hello;
You still have the lo pro edge on it ... I wonder when we'll see a "amateur" picture of the latest jem with the new trem.
I also prefer the 19mm neck to the 17mm at the first fret!
Contratulations anyway...

Agreed. The DBK has a high-output/traditional tone to it. The VSBL is a great playing guitar though and more impressive in appearance in person! I know that puppy is shining like a new diamond in your place right now! Congrats on the new axe!

BTW: (Slightly OT) - Is that a Boss DM-3 Delay in that picture? That caught my eye, too.

Thanks guys, it does shine like a diamond, that describes it well. That is a Boss DM-3 too.

One question: does that blue vine react in the black light, like the greens and yellows?
