My friend w/ the PAW UVMC at his hands!!! Unbelievable...

I have a friend from Portugal that told me at ORKUT Ibanez Universe Community that, well: he did took a nice picture holding 2 guitars, inside Steve Vai's house.
He told me that this was an flame style guitar, and the very ultra desirable UVMC from the PAW cover!!!
hahahahahaha.
Funny!
I told him:
Hey, boy, how could you put your hands on the most desirable guitar in the world???
He replyed:
I'm actually holding the UVMC by the beautiful monkey grip...
Maaaaaaan, you're liyng...
Today, i received this pic and, well, im pretty sure this IS the PAW UVMC.
And i'm pretty sure this IS Pedro, my friend!!!
What to think???

Uh yeah, that's it! But, why are you only "pretty sure" that this is your friend?
And, I only have one other thing to say, Ibanez better not let Steve make a Jem with the pattern of that wallpaper!

Yeah, I'm holding the PaW CD right now and it's definitely the same guitar. Did your friend explain how he was able to arrange this?

This is interesting--I just looked over on vai.com and they claim that Steve's had three flame guitars. One with a Performance neck (I think...it's taped over in the photo) which is in a GC in Hollywood. Another which was given to Thomas McRocklin (no photo), and one with an Ibanez neck that's in a Hard Rock Cafe in Florida. So according to vai.com, Steve doesn't own any of the flame guitars anymore. (Though they've been wrong in the past, right?)

It's also "common knowledge" that McRocklin got the PAW UV. Seems like he didn't after all. A nice piece to send off to charity, but wait 'till I win the national lottery!

About the flame guitars, they were sold to the public (I think there's a scan of the ad here on Jemsite as well) so Vai could easily get a few from other sources. Very limited edition though.

Keep in mind that's not realistic market price otherwise he would have sold it years ago, obviously it means much more to him than to any of us.
Also there is only one P&W UVMC so you can't really compare it with limited # Ibanez re-issues.
I can get a very similar guitar to be custom made for $2500 but it won't be THE P&W UVMC.
