My gorgeous guitar

You may have seen a thread about this in the past. First time to upload pics of final. Swirled and put together myself. Neck from chris woods. Alder body, luscious maple vine with pink inlay, Red and black swirl on body, headstock has different swirl than body. Evolution Humbuckers, S1 mid, ORIGINAL EDGE (my fav ] Pics don't bring out color well. The red is almost like a blood red in person. Swirl is messy but has incredible detail. Not my cleanest work but this is one mean Jem! Considering clear pickguard, dunno if i want to drop it on here. Tell me what you think! At 16 years old I am glad to say I own a Jem, and that I build it myself. ENJOY!

Re: My gorgeous guitar

The new strawberry smoothie JEM? I'm liking the busy swirl actually. I really don't like a swirl that looks too clean. These swirls have more personality for me. Awesome.

Re: My gorgeous guitar

I remember this swirl from the summer. Dude you did a great job putting it together. As far as for being a messy sort of swirl there is something about it that I really like cause it makes me think of other things. Obviously I think of candy or like strawberry slurpy or something sweet. Also I can't really take my eyes off of it cause I just want to look at all the detaik. Plus nice touch with using black ups and knobs.

How does it play and sound? I'd say no pickguard at all dude. Its cooler as is. On my swirl I didn't use a pickguard and I think for the second I'm doing the same. I just feel awful having to drill holes into the swirl.

Dude got a sick guitar be very proud.

Re: My gorgeous guitar

Very nice. It needs an Ibanez logo on the headstock.

Who made the body on this one? If you forced me to guess I'd say Legacy One.
