yeah, same in the UK - went into one today, and they had staggs, encores, and a couple of brands ive never heard of! nothing that i would call anything above total beginner quality!
Wow, I guess I gotta eat my words about San Antonio having horrible gear at pawnshops. 8O I've been told by a few that this simply isn't true, but now I really believe it. :O That brings back memories of all the 777DYs I used to see in pawn shops back in the day.
Iv been offered one of these from a shop in England for £850. That's about $1300. Is that a good buy or is it a bit of a high price?? I haven't brought it yet, but i have 1st refusal??
What do you all think??
Cheers.
Ross.
I've had really bad luck at pawnshops-- I once found an Ibanez Artcore offered for fifty bucks MORE than you could buy it new at the Ibanez dealer a few blocks down the same street.
