My new groovy swirly project

I used a body I got off the bay, already painted. I have a local guy do the clear coating and shielding if the body cavities. He did a fantastic job! Next I ordered some custom pickups from DiMarzio. They are De-Activator-X humbuckers and an Air Norton single coil. I bought an early 90's RG 470 and took all the hardware from that. Bridge, cover plates, electronics, input jack, ect and tossed those in there as well. I am just waiting for a custom neck from Chris Woods and all will be finished. Opinions please?

Not to put you down (or chris for that matter) or anything like that, but you better put the 470 neck on it if you want to start playing it in the near future.

The bridge is an original Edge. As for waiting. Don't I know it, I have been waiting 6 or 7 months already. I am on Chris' "hit list" to get done this week though. So I am hopeing to see that soon.

I think it looks great- are you putting a maple or rosewood neck on it?

Its a copy of a neck from a Jem 777, with the Disappearing pyramids. Maple I guess. With a purpleheart skunk stripe. Its gonna kill, if I ever get it.

That's what I thought... "OMG, LTE swirl!!!"
It looks... amazing! Exellent pickup colour choice!

Pyramid inlays would rock. But only in green/purple/abalone!
Get a clear pickguard!
