My Swirl Finish Thread

Hi all! I wanted to share some of my work with fellow Jemsiters.
Since 1992(or so), I have been blown away by Darrens work. In my opinion, his swirls are the pinnacle of a guitar finish.
So, being a creative type, i set out to learn how to do it. After LOTS of trail and error, i think im getting decent results.
This year, i purchased a nice clearcoat setup, to do 2 part polyurethane. What a difference!! I have auto refinishing experience, and this helped to get that aspect together.
Its a great thing to be able to do something like this, and have others be as excited about it as you are!!
Dave B.

Re: My Swirl Finish Thread

great work! Your technique is down! I like to experiment with swirls as well as you may already know and thought the toilet seat idea was great. I think I am going to do the same to mine. Keep swirlin'!
