Neck storage and preservation - How to store an unused neck

I recently purchased a Jem7LNG neck. I will not be using it at the time, rather saving it in case I wish to sell it later on, or one day put it on guitar. How can I preserve the neck while it is not on a body? How do I store it? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question I just want to be able to store the neck properly so it will not warp or somthing like that, becuase it is not under string pressure, etc. Let me know if you have any tips. Thanks.

2 schools of thought here. Storing with no tension on the truss whatsoever, and storing with the truss adjusted till the neck is straight. If it's stored with the truss adjusted it will have to be checked periodically as temp and humidity change. I store mine with no tesion on the truss. (basically cause I'll forget to keep an eye on them)
