Need a body

I need a body for a project.

I am looking for a Jem body made of alder and with natural finish. I would consider different woods if making the body nicer. I want a nice piece of wood.

Won't be too easy finding Alder like that, seeing as it's Ash.

Ok, what sound do you want from this guitar? That will be a determining factor in your choice.

Ash is bright, as is Alder but Ash is brighter.

Mahogany is warm, and will get a les paul like sound and looks great teamed up with a figured Maple cap.

yeah.... I own many guitars including Les Paul Std plus (mahogany + maple top), '57 RI American strat (Alder), Jem7vwh (Alder), RG505 (Baswood), RG570 (Alder + maple top) etc... so I know the story.

This time I am just looking for the nicest body.
