Need Advice

Well Im a proud owner of a Jem 555. Yep i love my git. So please FLAME now.......ggg. Well i got a short little question and hope u guys can handle it. Sure u will. In the saddle on the trem, where the strings are locked. There are this little metal blocks (they are pressed against the strings) I removed one and saw that there is a little hole (eine einkerbung) in it on only one site. Where has this hole to be seated? in direction to the string or to the screw? or is it unimportant?

Thx guys. U all rock. And be sure. There will be a time i get my hands on Jem 7v. Damn im looking forward to it. But it is so expensive here in germany.

So long.

Well that's the hole the screw goes into that tightens it against the string...

yep.
you gotta face the hole toward the fine tuners, so the string lock screw goes right into the hole, and locks it firmly.

best wishes for your collection enlarging...
