Need Help - UV777bk

Hi to you all!
Please i need help!
Yesterday i finally got my new UV777bk '03 everything was perfect: look
feeling but i can't handle with tremolo arm! it's too low for me!!!
About two days ago i was playing on RG350 guitar and now i jumped on UV777BK huge difference!!!!
I play guitar for almost seven years but I'm absolutelly rookie at this class of guitars (high end guitars)
i don't have any experience with EDGE PRO and LO PRO EDGE and i don't know how to lift the tremolo arm a little bit!
I read a tech setup but i don't find the answer there! (maybe i don't read careful)
Please if anyone know something about my problem let share his experience with me!
Thank YOU ALL!!!

you can't adjust the height of the bar per se, but you can get a similar effect by clamping the short bit in a vice and then bending the arm upwards a bit.

TAKE CARE THOUGH! they can be brittle, and can snap pretty easy. also, you want to make a pretty subtle little adjustment to the angle as the end of the bar will obviously raise a lot. you don't want to end up with the thing sticking straight out of the guitar!

I have a hard time believing the bar could be too low. It's more than likely the trem angle is too far forward or it's the wrong bar

When I took delivery of my 2003 UV777BK (with the Edge Pro) a few months back the bridge angle was too far forward and the arm would catch on the pickup selector in the middle position. After following the advise from JEMsite and adjusting the tremelo springs and the bridge height the arm now clears the switch fine - like the Low Edge Pro on my RG570EX.

If anything the bridge is a little back the other way now but It's near enough. If like me you haven't had to make these adjustments you will need to be patient and make sure you have an electronic tuner.

Thank you Mattww i just did that and everything goes ok but don't you think that the EDGE PRO is little weak on divings (that's my personal opinion, Don't get me wrong its very stable tremolo) but i got a feeling that it can't dive enought!!!???!!!!
Any advice on that? - Mattww, Rich, Earthman, Sam669 ???
Thank you all for your replies!!!

What do you mean by the trem being weak -in terms of what? Remaining in tune after series of dives? Or that it doesnt sound like you're falling into a vortex?

For the first thing, I have to say that i played a 2570, and was disappointed by the edge pro. I grabbed the axe in the shop, checked it was tuned correctly, checked the locking nut and for I knew I was going to brewtalize it, then plugged it. Started fluttering: ok. Then did some dive bombs, bar pull-ups, guitar lifting with the bar, etc. The result was quite terrible: all string turned flat except the G string which turned to an A, and the low E which turned to a Db... question of setup prolly, but still!

For the second thing, I didnt notice it to sound that weak... But! The strings didnt go floppy on the pickups, which sucks lol!

But as I already said, a trade is the way to go!

Most probably the strings were never stretched.

I find no difference in how far they dive, floppy strings are floppy strings. If there is a difference it's because it sits a little lower in it's rout, which may give up a mm or 2 of bar drop.
