Hey guys...
Whats up?

Ok i need your opinion here:
I have the chance to get a new guitar so i am considering these:
1)1989 77FP (ex. cond.) all original (1300-1350 Euros with the new prestige case)
2)1991 77FP (no cracks, 2 3-4cm dings) all original (1400 Euros with barbados case)
3)musicman Steve Morse tremollo model (blueburst, mint cond. 2 years old from the 1st owner) allo original (1200-1300 Euros with orignal case)

What do u think?

Ps: i havent try any of the guitars, the cond. i describe above is what the owners and the photos tell me...

I am not sure about the Morse's playability cause i never played one (though i didnt like the Petrucci model (fat neck for me, little fretwires etc)

I also never played an FP but i love the 7VWH, its great guitar (i love the neck, frets etc)... and ofcourse the sounds i can get... I dont own one but i have try it and love it...

I payed for my '89 FP about 700e nowadays' money. Was in REALLY good condition. I've made many dings on that, but I don't care. Guitars are for playing, not to be collected :-p

89 77FP great years for that model I got mine back in 88 and it is still my main guitar. Everything great about the JEM started with that one IMHO

JJEMMER would be a good person to ask (i guess he'll see this sooner or later) as he owns a couple of different year FP's!!

I'd probably go for the 89 if it's in excellent condition and original!! I guess it depends on peoples versions of "excellent"

if the 89 and 91 are both the same playable wise, then get the 89, just because it was the first year of mass production, but looking at mine i would go for the one with pinkest humbuckers LOL
