New Daren Johansen swirl

Got this last week. Swirl done by Daren Johansen of ATD

Sold as a Jem replica. The humbuckers are Dimarzio Evolution pick ups and the middle pick up is a Jem single coil. The last four frets need to be scalloped which I'll do some time. I have hmmmm 3 or 4 guitars that need the last 4 scalloped.

Hehe yeah, I have a habit of bidding at the last 10 seconds. To my credit though I don't use any bots or programs. I just wait and wait and wait and then hope my bid is high enough.

I lost out on that PMC one.

Excellent guitar. Always loved that color pattern but it was never on a 6-string. Where is the neck from on that thing?

Also, aren't you the guy with the yellow Celica?

Yeah the neck isn't an ibanez, it was made by someone else. The logo and jem logo are stickers. It was sold as a jem copy though, not passed off as an acutal jem.

Yeah! That's my 03 Celica GT turbo. Sweet ride. Man if you think guitars cost a lot, get into modding cars. It cost $7000 to turbo it, but it puts a smile on my face every time I hit the gas. I have an extra engine in my garage, in case I blow mine. I might start building up. (Darton sleeves, different pistons, rods, valves, valve springs etc) THAT will cost some bucks!

Well the neck looks really good, but how does it feel and play compared to an OEM Ibanez neck?
