New JEM BRMR

Hi Guys,

I just bought a new old stock(NOS) 2005 Jem BRMR. Plays Great. Sounds Great. Looks Great.

It costed approximately $1700 USD.

But for some reason it came with a "Ibanez Trem Stopper". My 05 7vwh never came with one of these and I never heard anything about it coming with JEMs. Maybe its because I rarely visit here anymore.

Tremolo Bar seems a little stiff. Its hard to put in the bridge. Its probably because its been in the case for a while.

So what kind of oil should I put on it? Kind of seems a waste if I change the white plastic rings just when I bought it.

I've been thinking about the guitar for a while since it went on discount but before I walked into the store today, I thought I was gonna get a new 2007 model instead of a 2005 2 week display one. But none the less I am still very satisfied.

Enjoy the pics!

another brmr convert! I've fallen in love with that guitar, it's actually the only Jem I have left, figure I'll hang on to that one for a while, it's so versatile in sound, and it feels great.

Ive got one of these too and I think they are fantastic. They really look amazing. They got a lot of flack when they came out for only having dot inlays on them, but thats only to reflect the fact that Vai's one has LEDs fitted, and who in there right mind is going to remove the vine to fit LEDs. To be honest fitting a vine to these guitars is total overkill in my opinion, but each and to there own, everybody has different taste.
These guitars really get you noticed when your playing though, they really stand out from the rest. I mean with all the Strats and Les Pauls out there these set you into a different legue.
