I thought I'd start another thread instead of continuing " out for delivery", I hope thats cool. First, thanks to all who helped me to choose a JEM (leave it to a bunch of JEM lovers!), and thanks for pointing me in Rich's direction. I know I got a better JEM than I would have gotten anywhere else. This baby is nice. So here's some pics I clicked off this morning of the cream-dream and the rest of my motley collection, enjoy...

Indeed! That Mexi-Frankenstrat used to be white until I put a Sharpie to it and made some dumbass art years ago. So I did a poor job of sanding off the finish and a poor job of spraying it. Now it's just an ugly montser but it works.

I forgot to mention, this is a "top ranking" instrument which will surely bring much luck to my family! LOL!

That's what I'll have to tell my wife next time I want a high-end ax.

Thanks. The Gibson is thunderous to be sure. It also weighs-in at a cool ton. I practically stole it for $475 w/ohsc a few years back when I played bass more regularly. I don't see alot of these around so it's kinda cool to have one. It's the only real 'vintage' guitar I have.

That's exactly what my 5 year old neice did when she watched me open my JS 1000 BTB from Rich..."Paul, that's a beautiful guitar!" I knew it was a good one before laying a finger on it.
