New Jem-DNA for sale in Holland for "little"

I found a new Jem DNA at a music-store in Holland for the price of 3900 dollars! Considering I saw these babies going for over 4500 second hand in the States. Thought you wanted to know. They probably ship to the USA.

Decent swirl, but 3900E is $4010, add in $200 for shipping in flight case, then add $400 for customs, $50 brokerage, and we in the states would be looking at $4660. Now, if you think it's perfect cause it's supposed to be new, think again. I passed on many "new" DNA's with dinks, chips, and fog spots. Condition is based on a particular guitar, not the fact it's "new". It's now hung 2 years in a store.

Just thought U would liked to know. I'm not a specialist. Not all visitors of this site will be American though! I've seen the guitar in the store, and it's in a glass case on the wall. I know the store (they have more in Holland) and with these kind of guitars they are VERY reluctant to let just anybody play them. Of course it could have dings and chips, but then you couldn't REALLY trust anyone on the net... This was just meant for information. I wouldn't buy a guitar I haven't seen it in real life. Maybe others do! Greetzzz from Holland

I'm pretty sure it got played. Feedback Utrecht (my town, I go there often) had a Jem10 and JS10 when they just came out. I played both, they hung on the wall next to all the other guitars.... (kinda goofy to see a Jem10 hanging next to a 555 ..:-))
Anyway, considering Feedbacks mentality and the price of the guitar, I doubt it is in mint condition.

Jeroenn/Metalmarty, You're right,

I saw the JS10 in the Utrecht store also a few years ago. Had no money then to buy it, but it was almost standing in the walkway and anyone could play it!
I picked it up also, no one at the store seemed to mind.
Just think of all the people with jackets and metal-belts who probably made a lot of scratches on it.

This could be the same for the JemDNA

Damned shipping... speaking of dings and things...
Why is it every time I see a DNA for sale on ebay, or some other site, there's always a friggin ding or noticeably large chip in it. Who the hell are these people who own these things? Do they not realize they paid over $4,000 for a guitar or what?
