New JEM7VWH Owner!

I got my brand-new 2006 JEMVWH today!!!!!

Gratuitous pic:

I've wanted a JEM for a number of years and finally got the chance to snag one. I've previously owned a number of RGs (3120, 550 & 570) and also a JS1200CA, but I've always wanted an JEM. I was totally blown away by the flat thin neck, which is amazing to play. I also really like the Evolution pickpups. The rosewood board is very dark with a tight grain. I was hoping that it wouldn't be washed out, and I wasn't disappointed. I had to buy this blind because no dealers around me sotck these. The lastime I played one was in a Guitar Center about 2 years ago. Anyway, I'm really impressed so far with the playabilty and sound. Simply killer. I'm huge Vai fan to boot.

Hi,

I bought my BRMR blind too, didn't even see one in real life. What a moment when you open that case for the first time huh?

Welcome to the Club!!!!

I know that it's not back yet from your luthier... * insert evil grin*
Also that the dots are still to see, despide the vine

Well, that's what one gets when he wants the original BRMR neck AND the Vine... But they're really hardly visible. I'm very happy with the job done by RafaPG, but it would be nice to get her back one of these days

No such thing as a free lunch in this world and all that

The next BRMR will have pyramids though So the dots will be covered up a lot more effectively.

Regards,

JP
