News about the 2002 jem floral production

Hello guys;
I'm back to school... So I have my computer again...
Someone in this site asked me if a 2002 fp would be possible... Yes it is!!! I saw one in London this august (I know, thanks to jem site, how to date it!)...
So, does-it mean that there still some floral jem production for Europe and not for USA??? Fp is still in the 2002 catalogue in Europe anyway!

PS : Hey guys from UK : Have you ever notice that the "steve Vai gear" in "guitar buyer" was made with some of the "machinehead" jem...
Their fp has a very particular pattern n°1!

See ya... I'm happy to be with you again!

Jeanseb
PS2 : Sorry if you have already talked about that... 2 months of holydays for me... Too great!

Are the FPs still using fabric, or have they gone to some other method for reproducing the floral print? I would have thought they'd run out of that fabric long ago.

Are you guys trying to tell me that the FLoral pattern is a contiuation of the previous design or is it a new run with say perhaps an AANJ?

For the record the 2002 range (Europe) is:

UV777PBK

JEM7VSBL
JEM7DBK
JEM7VWH
JEM77FP
JEM555WH
JEM555BK

I will check on the latest FP in London stores at the weekend. Anything else you would like me to check?

Best wishes

Hello guys
I'm still happy to see that the fp is still in your heart!!

Yes, the "fp" I saw in London this summer had the new "bowtie" serial sticker with an 02' serial #??
But, I'm sorry, there's no "aanj" it's always the same fp... The pattern of this one is the pattern number one.

Cerealk, Tell me when you 'll go to the guitar shop... We could met there if you want. This guitar shop is denmark street (sorry I don't remember how to write it, may be it's "rocker" or something like that), tottenham court road.
there was also a "jem dy 1988" (one of the first) on this shop but she is in very bad condition and they want it for 850£ (they could do it for 700£) but i'd rather take it for 500£...

See ya

One of my FP's is one of the very last ones sent to the US and it is indeed fabric. I'd be surprised if they did something else. Paint or airbrushing would cost a fortune. A photo finish would be a bit more obvious. I'm glad to see they are still alive somewhere. the FP is one of my two all time faves.
