This was better than I though it would be.
The neck is so different than my other JEMs.
It is the thinest Ibanez neck I have ever played.
I got it from Guitar Center for $700!
Definately the most underrated Jem, but at 700$ it's hard difficult to argue against it. I have 77VBK so definitely close in style and sound. I love the breed pick ups. A lot more soulful then the evo's, and in the right hands can be the perfect all around pick ups.
Great NGD sebastian!!! looking at the date on the pics, I don't think your supposed to be revealing it til tomorrow................The Aliens are gonna be MAD!!!!!!
I picked up a dead mint 7VSBL for $1k a few months ago and love it! I am currently in the process of building a new pickguard for it so I can do some pup mods but return it to stock. The new pickguard is black & I'm doing a DiMarzio Liquifire neck, EVO single coil, and EVO2 bridge in blue. It should come out looking similar to the 77BFP contrast-wise.
I'll post some pics as soon as its done!
Congrats on your new Jem(s)! Hope you are enjoying them!
