NOS JEM7RB?

Hey, i did a search around here but found no topic about this, and i am curious about it since i am going to have a good amount of cash here in the weeks coming...

what would be a good price going for a NOS Rootbeer jem? a local dealer has had one here for a while, and i am very interested in picking it up. Any help is appreciated.

uhh, you kinda caught me... it is E.R., but i highly doubt they sell much, so, at least i can attempt to get it.... and i don't know what they are asking, but probably a rediculous number. they can't sell it for THAT much, you know what i mean? then it won't sell. i was just going to go in there with the cash (proabably in $100's) pull it out of my pocket and say i want the jem rootbeer. let them know i'm serious. most people who go in there are just there to look, so the salespeople don't take you seriously(i would know). to me, it's just another guitar store, and if i get what i want, who cares?

Yeah, I guarantee he wants a nut for it, but Brandon, I wouldn't go in there flashing hundreds, if I was a salesman I would think you have a rich daddy and whatever I tell you, you will be back tomorrow with the money. Just my opinion, he's had it forever, he is in no hurry to sell anything. Perhaps you could offer some soft tacos in trade, may go further than money. Sorry, that was inappropriate.

This is funny. I was searching and searching for a Jem (would've been my second) about a year ago. I came upon his site. I emailed, then called, was working on a "deal" with him (actually one of his minions). I could NOT believe the price so I started searching the web a little more. That's how I found Jemsite. Never spoke to him again, but I own 3 more Jems now.

and just to let everyone know, this wasn't intended as a bash E.R. thread, just before it gets out of hand. i just want to know what you think is a reasonable price for the jem.
