OFR 7 in universe?
I was wondering if it was possible to put an OFR 7
string bridge
into a universe body? Would there be any routing required? Im askin cause im assembling a lefty 7 string, in the image of a universe, and my friend thought it would be cool to do it along with me, but with a righty. Its alot easier to find an OFR 7 then it is to find an ibanez 7 string bridge ( i found one for myself though
)

Re: OFR 7 in universe?
yeah i know about rich having them. But if he was to get one he'd get a used one. $275 is a bit much...especially for Canadians

Re: OFR 7 in universe?
Well, I thought the bigger problem was actually FINDING an original Floyd 7... I wa sunder the impression you could on occasion find liscensed Floyd 7's (rightie, anyway), but that an original Floyd 7 was something that's existance had only been confirmed by a few pictures, nothing more?
Oh wait, HE'S the one looking for a Floyd, and he wants a rightie.
A quick search of Carvin's site shows a lisenced (not original) trem for $159.99...
http://www.carvin.com/products/singl...FR7C&CID=GTR/K
...and the matching nut for $16.99
http://www.carvin.com/products/singl...LN7C&CID=GTR/K
That nut is a LOT cheaper than Ibanez's... Anyone know if they're directly retrofitable? A $16 nut is a little more appealing than a $125...

Re: OFR 7 in universe?
Leave it to Rich to find this and burst my bubble in all of about four minutes.
Oh well. Easily worth it, for the privelage of using an Edge.

Re: OFR 7 in universe?
I ordered some, after specifically asking to make sure they were thru mount, to which they swore they were. Idiots.
