Oh Dear!!!

This is a bit of a worry!
I wonder how many of these sub-standard "NOTJems" will flood into the market due to the cheapo price?
I can't see them being much in the way of quality and I hope Ibanez put a stop to them.

Oh you'll have to manualy insert the eshay word as I can't get it to link.
Hope somebody knows how to contact Ibanez about these as they've ripped off everything right down to the headstock shape.

Re: Oh Dear!!!

I think the mokey grip is big so you can get your entire arm through it......
....You know,, for that "over the shoulder" look.

Re: Oh Dear!!!

I would hope the members of Jemsite would be able to seperate what "looks" like a good guitar and what IS a good guitar.
I bet the finish and the build quality are shocking!

Oh no, the germans are coming, the germans are coming. NOT!

Looking at all 3, I could tell there was something wrong with them. Quick, someone buy one so we can see how bad they really are. I'm sure they play, but how well is a different story, and miles away from playing like the real thing.

I guess if you just want the look but your probably better off building it yourself.

Re: Oh Dear!!!

I wouldn't consider it a problem.

You can either buy a JEM, or you can buy that twisted hunk-o-junk. Now, if they were as good as a Jem, but for less, THEN there might be some cause for concern on Ibanez's behalf. But otherwise, that things a joke, and anybody in the JEM market can easily tell that that thing is an oversized splinter.

Re: Oh Dear!!!

looking at the buying history- some poor chap has gone and bought three- perhaps one of each colour, for his aspiring musical triplets?
Wonder how long before the cheapo floyd inserts soften and take little Timmy's eye out with a whiplashed E string...?

Re: Oh Dear!!!

i think the body's made of pine....

wow it has two humbucker's and a single pick up ....... that must good.

I think it's thats same model to what Steve Vai play's ......

it even has the trem like Steve Vai's guitar- it must be then.... i am going to get me one.

there are people in the world who would buy this guitar purely on looks.. sad but true..
