OK, now I get it..... NEW JEM!

Well, I got a Jem7DBK from a jemsiter today and it is awesome. I have owned RGs and a JS, but never a JEM. I'm very impressed - it plays so well and is incredibly light. Now I understand what the "big deal" is!! It's easily the lightest guitar I've ever owned. I need to take some time to really test drive it tomorrow when the wife is out, but so far I'm in love
Only downside is some scratchy pots - anybody have experience with this? I've cleaned them on my strat before, but I am not familiar with the guts of the JEM yet.

i dont have a jem, but i have a universe, an Rg570 and a parker p-38
and i would like to have a 7dbk too(looks flashy!!!)
a by the way if you love lightweight guitars you should try a parker those guitar really fly!

oh yeah, I had a black parker NiteFly that was a great guitar. had to sell it to raise closing costs for our house. real life getting in the way of my fun again!! definitely have a natural mahogany Fly on my future guitars list though..
