Well I guess its the ease of navigation, the picture gallery for instance is much more easier to get to. Dont get me wrong the new one is great, I mean you even get a section now to show off your own guitars which is fantastic.

It may be we all like to remanice lol

PMSL I would't mind either but my name isn't Morris Daley either and definitely not Squid Finger. Its a long story behind that name, and its a pain in the arse typing it in aswell to log on LOL

Re: Old Jemsite, a blast from the past

Constructive criticism...no offense intended.
The tech section of jemsite hasn't been updated since 2004. If there's one thing that's a website killer it's very old content or content that doesn't get updated often. Jemsite's saving grace has been the forum which IMO is a testimony to all the great folks we have on here.
Maybe partnering up with the people that made the recent Ibanez wiki would be good?
Just a though.

I totally respect that idea! (if it's the wikia wiki that is )

Searching for something like "ibanez" or "Ibanez JEM" in Google still brings you here at Jemsite which is a great thing. Sure something that should be used.

Just noticed too that you have to be logged on to see the correct URL address, so anyone looking at this thread not logged on wont see the address correctly. Dont know why?

Re: Old Jemsite, a blast from the past

I think its good to here other peoples views on Jems, we all have to remember not every one likes them like we do. A Les Paul is a very expensive guitar and "top of the range" but I dont like them. I had a Les Paul standard years ago and never got on with it. There too heavy, your fore arm digs into the side of the sharpe body, the neck joint is like the thickness of a brick and theres no trem on it but its a top of the range guitar so it must be good. Its all relative I guess, if your really into Les Pauls then you would be really offended with what ive just said about them.
I guess what im saying is take the comments with a pinch of salt, I think its great to read comments like theres on a site dedicated to jems that dont totally bull **** the product to the max.

Re: Old Jemsite, a blast from the past

Oh, man, I haven't been here for a while... I've looked at the old version and it still has my edited version (for print to scale) of the blueprint from years ago...

It's nice to be back here...
