Opinions please!!!

I saw a black Ibanez Jem Jr 555 in a pawn shop today. The guitar was marked $600. I told the guy I MIGHT give him half that. He finally agreed that I could have it for $250 plus tax. The guitar is very dirty, but no major scratches or dings. You guys think I should get it?

This isn't as simple as it sounds? Do you want an ibanez Jem Jr. 555 if you already have a Jem I doubt you would play it much.Are you buying it to resell It? Does it come with a Hardshell case that would make it an even better deal. I think a Jem jr goes for like 400-500 buck on fleabay (just guessing). The bad things about the Jem Jr. is its Korean made and no edge pro trem you get some lo-trs I think which is kinda weak.Bottom line is if you want it buy it if you can afford it.

Thats not a bad idea Prydogga!! I may go back and put it on layaway. I dunno though, I have a Carvin custom shop V, a bass head, and nearly a full rack system on layaway already. Really Really good prices though. I will definatly think about it. And no, I have a Jem, a universe, a JS-10th and a bunch of other guitars so I don't NEED it, but....... well you know!!

The one I am getting is a very dark purple, custom shop, with case and build sheets.
