Re: Patrick Sims does it again!

Congrats!!

Pat is getting better at having stronger swirl patterns that aren't too busy like his early stuff. One of the nicest ones I've seen from him yet.

Lovin' the neck too!!! MMMMmmm swirled pyramids!!!!

Can't wait to see it all together over the next couple weeks or so.

Re: Patrick Sims does it again!

Looks great! Just out of curiosity, how long did it take to get it swirled?

Re: Patrick Sims does it again!

Thanks everyone! As you can all imagine................Im excited!
The swirled pyramids were Patrick & Chris' idea. I originally wanted white. Patrick offered up black & white, however, with the ebony fretboard, the black didnt look right. So...................between the two of them, they came up with the very first ever................"Swirled Pyramid Inlay". The guitar will be finished with white pups & knobs. The headstock will be a matching swirl with a white truss cover. I cant say enough awesome things about Patrick Sims. I will post more pics of the assembly as Patrick sends them to me.
