Finally met with Scott and did the trade yesterday - he picked up a couple of my Fender amps and I grabbed the 7PBK that was on eBay a while back. The guitar has a non-original
bridge pup but I've already got a white
PAF Pro to replace it with. The hardware works fine but it's worn, and I prefer the Lo Pro to the equipped Edge so I'm stripping the minty hardware from my RG750 "refin" project (aka the
Ibanez Jim) to clean it up some. The neck is absolutely beautiful, with excellent frets and one of the nicest pieces of rosewood I've ever seen on a guitar for the fretboard. And the body just vibrates under your hand when the guitar is played - it's so loud acoustically that even my wife commented on it! A very, very resonant piece of wood... All in all I'm very pleased - it's a special guitar, for certain
