Finally after a few months of swapping and buying here and there i have finished my transformation of my 7VWH, rid it of that nasty gold hardware and pearly scratchplate....

Cheers Jemmer for the pickguard.... cant decide if i prefer the plain one to the pearl one...

Also just fitted it with tremelo-no which really changes the feel.

I like it much more without the gold hardware

Im no fan of the white Jem with the gold hardware, its my least favourite. Only because I dont own a jem and if I were to, I envisage a very colorfull one.

Id add some colored Dimarzios :P

Congrats on the jem Personally speaking, I love the 7v the way it is and won't be changing mine. But your's looks cool as well

yeah that is way cooler than the white and gold.

7V is the one jem i wouldnt buy...
there comes a point where it gets just too cheesy and white and gold is it for me! (and this comes from a guy who owns and FP!!)

yeah that looks pretty good, i'm the same as Gurj I wouldnt change mine, but i do like that, I think i'd still keep the pearl pickgaurd on though.

Someone else on here didnt like the gold so stripped all the gold off so all the hardware was silver, that looked really good too, anyone know whose that was?

Put the old pick guard back on, looks like a cheap 333 or 555 without it, with that said id have mine just like yours.

Personally, though, i wouldn't change a VWH, except for maybe the hardware.

And yeah, that kinda looks like a Chibanez, but we all know it's real, as do you, and that's what matters.

I like the older guard too. It would kinda (remotely) look like evo, but not beaten up and without EVO inked near the lion claw cavity.

I don't like the peraloid pickguard. I changed mine to plain black. Pearloid is my least favorite pickguard color, that's how great I think the JEM 7VWH is, I bought it anyway.

yeah, the VWH is my least fav. Jem as well. The gold hardware makes it look a little cheap. Sell the hardware on **** and get a new toy! I like the look of it, it reminds me of a universe

Aye the white universe with pyramids, has to be the best looking RG style guitar. I used to stare at it on the sleeve of PAW moronically when i was young....
