Problem with Jem7bsb

Hello everybody! I'm new here.I have a Jem 7bsb.I'm having some problem with the action of the high E string. The neck of the guitar is perfectly ok.the action of the other 5 strings are just fine.I've lowered the treble side of the bridge to the last point.but still the action of the 1st string is a bit high.can anyone suggest how can i lower the string height? btw tremolo angle is in right position.thanks in advance.cheers

Re: Problem with Jem7bsb

Are you sure you've loosened the central locking bolt in the treble side bridge stud (very small allen key)? That'll prevent you from lowering the bridge if you haven't
Other wise you could shim the neck to allow you to raise the bridge but still get a low action.

Re: Problem with Jem7bsb

can you raise/lower the saddle by tightening/loosening that screw (the one you move to adjust intonation) or is that a bad thing?

Sorry, but this is nonsense. What Vim Fuego said is correct.

I don't think you realize the type of trem that this guitar is equipped with. Please refrain from adding confusion to the thread.
